After watching the speech that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave this afternoon at Columbia University it is no mystery to me why his nation has been embarrassed to have him be the face of their nation. Truly an intellectual, he showed skilled at tap dancing his way through the mine field that lay waiting for him. His introduction by the President of the University was as scathing as it was pointed. President Bollinger called President Ahmadinejad a "petty and cruel dictator" and told him that he didn't "think he would have "the intellectual courage to answer these questions." And then the lies come out of President Almadinejad's month and the twisting of the truth was one of the most alarming and frightening things that I have witnessed.
