The Least of Sneeze

Yesterday may have been one of the nicest days of the year here in Dallas. The sun was out and there was a wonderful chill in the air. The perfect day for layers and outside activities. I got out to the driving range with my friend Billy at 9:30 and was on a roll with my new 52 degree pitching wedge. Then from there I got my weekly Saturday office time in to catch up on everything that doesn't make it into my busy week. A few hours later I wrapped up my work for the week and was pumped to get out and enjoy a wonderful afternoon. I grabbed my book and headed out on my back porch and was thoroughly enjoying being outside when it hit me. It was as if a cat was placed on my face and I was forced to inhale. My allergies kicked up to record levels and plagued me for the rest of the afternoon. I even went inside to try and get them to calm down, but it wasn't until I took a shower that I stopped sneezing and my eyes stopped watering. I finished off two boxes of kleenex. Then this morning I got up for church feeling a lot better. The only problem with going to church this morning was that I had to be walk outside to get to my car and then from my car into church. About the third hymn I realized my error in not filling my pockets to the brim with kleenexs. In the middle of the sermon I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned to see the sweetest older lady handing me a pack of purse size tissues. She smiled kindly and told me to keep them. They were the nicest tissues I've ever had. Not only because they were so timely, but because they had her initials on them and must have been made with Egyptian cotton they felt so soft. After the service she revealed that she had four more packs in her purse and one more in her coat pocket. A random act of kindness done to the "least of sneeze" has got my Sunday off to a good start. Now I just need to figure out how do I get all the errands done that I need to do without going outside...
