Portrait of a sucker

Leaving Central Park a nice little Asian man haggled with me for a $5 portrait by his wife.

It turned out pretty good as far as the face went. She captured my eyes.

So as i am getting ready to go she tell me i need to put it in a frame so it doesn't smear since it is done in charcoal. All of this is in broken English but i nod my head in agreement that i don't want it to smear either. So she puts it in a frame and i handed her a twenty. When i reached my hand out for the change she smiled and pointed back to the small print below the "$5 portrait!!!" which said "frame $15."

Damn.
