Daily Shakespeare
The best part about a well read individual is the ability to work literary works into day to day conversations. While speaking with the Steve Kent, the Co-Founder of One Key this afternoon, he worked in Shakespeare into our conversation as if it were something he said all the time. As we were discussing some of the things that lay ahead of us for this week, both personally and professionally, he dropped in a line from Henry IV Part One. The phrase "Discretion is the better part of valor" was a new one for me, at least in the context of our conversation. As I got off the phone, I thought I would look to see if it was an original, because if it wasn't, I was going to make sure Steve got a lot of credit. But since William Shakespeare said it first, I will just give Steve the credit for raising the level of conversation to include The Bard.
