New Flight Plan
A full three weeks into 2009, I have a new job, a new address, a new cell phone, a new email address, and a new trajectory and perspective for how significant this year may prove to be. The skies are clear, the conditions are right, we have clearance from the tower...flight attendants prepare for take off.
As of the first week in January, I found out that I would no longer be working with One Key. The official statement from One Key's CEO, Jay Sapovits was "One Key has ceased its operations and is conducting an orderly wind down of its business. Like many other businesses and individuals, One Key was subject to a once-in-a lifetime economic crisis that has left few untouched." My time working with One Key was a time that I will look back on fondly. I still have a great respect for the Executive Team and for the way in which they conducted themselves, in both the good times and the bad.
As of this week, I am very excited to say, I have made the transition to a company that I have admired and respected for the past three years, Marquis Jet. I have accepted the position of Sales Executive for North Texas where I will oversee the sales and business development efforts for this region. The Marquis Jet CardSM
program is the finest jet card program in the industry because it's the only way to access NetJets, 25 hours at a time. NetJEts, quite simply, stands along in private avaition. NetJets, a Berkshire Hathaway company, operates the largest private fleet in the world and sets the industry standard in safety.
I am truly excited about the new doors that this transition presents for Annie and myself as well as the fantastic individuals that I have the privilege of counting as part my network. I look forward to working together to find the opportunities that my new position brings to you and/or someone within your network. Please leave a comment below or send me an email if I can answer any further questions.
