Cause and Effect

Of all the many things that I am THANKFUL for this year, the one thing that ties them all together is that of individual freedom and the personal responsibility. This year, more than any before, I have entrenched myself in the belief that I have a choice and a responsibility to myself to create the world that I want to be a part of. That when it comes down to it, I alone can create and build the life that I want.
Now, it is important to note that I make that statement grounded in more reality that in years past. Life happens, external circumstances are out of my control, failure is a part of any success. But, with that caveat made, I am more fully convinced that we are masters of our destiny.

Regardless of what life throws at us, there are new opportunities in each challenge. Every moment, every interaction, every day, is another opportunity to change the world we live in and to make it the world we want it to be.
