It's Today

There is a lot riding on today. Today is the day that might change everything. Today could be the day that an entire chapter is written about in my autobiography. Today is the day that matters more than any day before. Today is that day that I have been waiting for and have know was on the horizon, and now is finally here.
But then again, I said that yesterday and it proved to be true. And I will say it again tomorrow and expect to find similar results.

"Time is limited, so I better wake up every morning fresh and know that I have just one chance to live this particular day right and to string my days together into a life of action and purpose." - Lance Armstrong

Everyday is a day to be seized and taken advantage of and met with a sense of expectation. If I choose to see today as the day of possibility, a day of success, it very well can be. It reminds of something Henry Ford said:

"Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you are right."

So much rides on the attitude that you take into each moment and with which you begin each day. And each day presents the chance for victory. Small battles win big wars. I once had a seasoned advisor tell me:

"A couple great days put together can become a great week. A couple great weeks, a great month. A couple great months, a year. A couple great years can lead to a wonderful lifetime. But all of that starts today."

And so it does. Let it begin.
