Ouch, that has to hurt

Being a professional athlete is a very challenging endeavor. It takes years of hard work and determination and even then, only a few actually make it to the bigs. Along the way there are thousands of hopefuls that eventually don't make the cut. And some times even when they do, life is a beating.
Take minor league baseball player John Odom for example. He got a mildly rude awakening when he was trade from the Calgary Vipers to the Laredo Broncos this past week. It was a very rude awakening when he found out that he was traded for 10 baseball bats.
Ouch, I am guessing his ego just went on the disabled list.
